Frontier Relics art print by Emil Amos

It's new print announcement time! This one is a pretty special project we've been working on for a while with friend and musical magician Emil Amos of Holy Sons, Om, Grails and Lilacs and Champagne. As many of his fans already know, Emil makes old-fashioned tape-and-scissors collages to adorn the record sleeves of his many music projects, and I was lucky enough to procure one such collage, titled Frontier Relics, before it had a chance to be used for anything. At some point the idea of making prints emerged, and that idea has finally become a reality.

This first run of 20 was printed with Epson Ultrachrome K3 pigment inks on Canson Rag Photographique 210 gsm paper, and hand signed by Emil when he was on tour in Australia with Grails last October. The colours have been matched to perfection by Shaun's keen eye, and lucky for you guys these prints will actually far out-last the original, which is made of decidedly non-archival magazine and newspaper clippings. The print is 36.5cm x 29.5cm, or a little under 15 x 12 inches including the white border.

All materials used to create and package these are of archival quality, so your print can be safely stored in it’s original packaging until you have it framed. Also included is a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Shaun, and embossed with our Lepus Luna logo. Prints will be rolled between two sheets of protective tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy postage tube.

This is an open edition, but the availability of signed prints is dependent on Emil being in Australia so at this point we only have 20. Once these have sold out I will update this page accordingly, and you will have the option of buying an unsigned print or waiting on the off-chance that we do another run to coincide with his next Australian tour. Don't sleep on it!

$60AUD, postage included to pretty much anywhere in the world.

Please feel free to email me with any questions before placing an order.
