Our site is currently under construction/renovation; new prints coming in early 2024.

We create museum quality fine art prints of historical paintings and classically styled works by contemporary artists.  We source our images from the collections of the world's great galleries to ensure  the finest quality and fidelity to the original piece. Our prints are made to the highest possible standards using archival, acid free materials.  We are based in Australia, but ship all over the world.

About Our Prints

About Our Prints

All our prints are created using Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks on archival papers. Properly framed, they should last up to 100 years without fading. Framing or matting is available upon request.

Sizing

Sizing options for our prints are based on A4, A3 and A2 sheets. However it should be noted that many works do not conform to the proportions of these standard sizes. The actual dimensions of a given print is determined by what will fit most comfortably on a standard sheet, allowing for a border of 15 – 20mm to accommodate most framing options.

If you would like to know the precise dimensions of a print, please email us. Custom sizes may be available upon request, but enlargements beyond A2 (594mm long) are dependent upon the quality of the original file.

Paper Stock

Our fine art prints are available in three choices of paper stock, which for the sake of convenience we have simply listed as “smooth”, “textured” and “canvas”.

Our choice of smooth stock is Canson Rag Photographique 310gsm, a 100% cotton rag paper containing no OBAs. This paper has a wide gamut, which means it can produce a broader range of colours and tones.

For textured paper, we use Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm. This is a medium-textured 100% alpha cellulose paper, great for reproducing illustrations and paintings. It is mould-made, which generally refers to a mechanical process more in line with traditional paper-making methods which results in a more durable paper with a pleasing surface texture.

Our choice of canvas is Hahnemühle Daguerre 400gsm. This is an acid-free poly-cotton canvas which is durable and stretches well. It has a high white point and a fine texture, which makes it ideal for reproductions.

You can learn more about archival papers and how to choose which is right for your prints at Shaun’s site.

Works by contemporary artists are usually printed at set sizes and paper stocks as determined by the artists themselves. Unless otherwise specified, variations are not available.

Postage

Prints typically ship within 48 hours of ordering. A4 prints are shipped flat, sandwiched between sheets of foamcore. A3s and A2s are rolled and shipped in tubes. All prints are individually wrapped in sheets of acid-free tissue paper.

Our postage rates cover the cost of shipping a standard-sized poster tube 60mm in diameter. A tube can safely hold up to 4 prints. More than that will require additional tubes and may incur additional charges.
